Westside Waste Management provides trash, recycling, and organics recycling collection services to residential customers in Taft, Lost Hills, Buttonwillow, Maricapa, and other unincorporated areas on the west side of Kern County.  We take pride in keeping our communities clean through hard work, continuous innovation, and community outreach.

In most cases, the property owner is the account holder and is responsible for any waste collection services - from setting up service to paying the bill. 

All container types and sizes may not be available at all locations depending on a variety of factors including safety, efficiency, and accessibility. 

Don't overfill carts or bins. Consistently contaminated or overloaded contianers may result in service disruptions and/or fees. Cart and bin lids must close completely to prevent spillage. Containers that are consistently overloaded and not closed may indicate the need to increase your service level. 

Please set out your container for pickup by 5:00 am.
