History
Westside Waste Management Co., Inc.’s history began when Bob Hampton purchased the company from Bud and Eileen Wilson on May 1, 1983. Bob had previously been in the garbage and portable restroom business in the Coalinga area, but was excited to be back in business in his hometown of Taft.
Throughout the next 20 years Westside Waste expanded it's service area to include Buttonwillow, Maricopa, Unincorporated Taft, and Lost Hills. Westside Waste is proud to provide high quality waste hauling and recycling services to the communities we serve.
Bob owned and operated the business with enthusiasm and vigor until he died in 2020. Westside Waste continues to be family owned and operated, with his grandson Max carrying on the Hampton legacy of community involvement and reliable service.
